Attitudes and Behaviour

We have high expectations of our pupils’ attitudes and behaviour. These are reinforced through our six Golden Rules, and supported by a clear system of praise and rewards and of warnings and sanctions. Bullying is never tolerated. If a child’s behaviour is a cause for concern we will always inform the parents at an early stage, and seek to work with them to improve matters.

Our Golden Rules

  • Show respect and consideration
  • Listen to people
  • Work hard and do your best
  • Be honest and truthful
  • Take care of property and possessions
  • Act thoughtfully and safely.

Any form of discrimination, harassment or victimisation – due to race, religion, gender or disability - is unacceptable to us. We strive to ensure that individuals and groups all have similar opportunities to excel and we foster good relations between the many different groups within our school.
