Wavendon Gate School started a Breakfast Club in the summer of 2009 as a result of parents needing to drop off their children early to school. The school recognises and supports our working parents and is pleased to be able to provide them with a valuable service.
Breakfast Club is open Monday to Friday 7.45am - 8.45am during term time only. Breakfast is served from 7.45am to 8.15am followed by a choice of activities; active, arts and craft or quiet reading with friends. The Breakfast Club team ensure that the children have a varied programme of activities and a choice of healthy options for breakfast over the week.
Pupils can be registered for a regular place on the same days of the week each week, or pupils can be registered for an adhoc place, where you can call to book a place with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Breakfast Club is extremely popular and some days are completely full, so please book your place early and notify the school in advance if you are unable to use your booked place, so it can be offered to another pupil.
Breakfast Club can take a maximum of 40 children each morning.
See the forms section for an application form.
