PE

Tuesday (swimming until Christmas) and Wednesday (outdoors)

Children come to school in PE kits. Please remove earring on PE days. Hair should be tied back. Please remember to wear the correct PE kit, especially long trousers and hoodie as it's getting very cold.

Spellings

New spellings will be handed out on Friday and tested the following Friday.  The spellings and extension activity do not have to come back to school, these are given to support the learning of the new spellings.

Homework

The children have been allocated their homework for this half term which has been sent home in their new homework books.  Maths and English homework is compulsory.  From the remaining 10 homework options, they must complete 5 - totalling 7 altogether.  Children may complete all of the tasks if they wish and can hand it in before the deadline.  If any problems arise, please come and ask.

Reading Books

The children have been assessed on their reading level.  Reading journals will be issued on Friday 13th September.  Children are expected to read 5 times a week at home.  Reading journals will be checked every Friday but it is important to bring the journals to school every day.
