Well done on your homework this half term 6B, it has been great looking through it and I can see how hard you have worked.
Over half term, I have set some battles on TimesTables Rockstars so remember to log in and up your score!
Next half term, we will continuing our revision unit based around Harry Potter. If you can use your revision guides to keep recapping the maths topics and revisit any maths you've found a little bit tricky, that would be fantastic.
Remember to take some time to rest and we look forward to seeing you back at school on Monday 17th February!
If children are reading 3 times a week and writing it in their journals they are awarded a golden ticket. This gives them an opportunity to win a prize at the end of the term. Last week, we had 26 readers who received a golden ticket which is fantastic! We were also the most improved class in terms of the amount of children that read and this was announced in assembly. Well done 6B, let's keep it up!
In our class, reading journals are checked every Thursday and golden tickets are awarded every Friday.
When recording in their reading journal, it should include a comment about what they have read and be signed by an adult at home.
The children have been assessed and have a reading book for their book band. This book should come home each day, along with their reading journal.
As a class we visit our school library every Friday, the children are welcome to return books and take new books in this slot.
