Wavendon Gate School

The aim at Wavendon Gate School is that all children will achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Quality first teaching is paramount to ensure we fulfil this aim for our children. For some children, however, it is necessary to provide additional support and/or resources to enable them to achieve their targets in school and to reach their full potential. This information has been provided to answer questions you may have about the Special Educational Needs (SEN) support that is being provided to help your child in school.

Name of SENCO: Mr Scott

To contact Mr Scott please email: admin@wavendongateschool.co.uk or telephone 01908 586394 and ask for the SENCo.

Admissions arrangements for SEND students

Children with special educational needs will be treated as fairly as any other applicant. The council does not permit refusal of admission because it is claimed that the school cannot cater for the child’s needs and will consider applications in line with the oversubscription criteria.
