What is home learning?
Home learning includes a selection of activities your child can do at home to practise or continue their learning. It is not the same as home education – your child remains a pupil at school.
We may provide home learning if the school has to close temporarily, for example because of severe weather, a power cut, problems with heating or water, or a safety issue with the building. We may also provide activities if your child needs to stay at home because they have a contagious illness.
All home learning activities are set using the following online platforms:
Foundation – Tapestry
Years 1–6 – Seesaw
Click on the icons below to take you to the platform and then log in using your child's individual log-in details. These can be found in the back of their reading diaries.
Please email admin@wavendongateschool.co.uk for your child’s log-in details or if you have questions regarding our home learning. We are here to support you.
